Swiggy launches budget food app Toing
Swiggy has launched a new app, Toing, offering cheaper food options in Pune as competition in India’s food delivery market rises.
Swiggy, based in Bengaluru, is piloting Toing in select Pune neighborhoods, targeting college students and early-career professionals.
The app lists snacks and mini meals such as burgers, sandwiches, and shakes, with items priced under 150 rupees (US$1.8).
Toing charges a platform fee of 12 rupees (US$0.14) per order, lower than Swiggy’s main app, and offers free delivery for orders above 99 rupees (US$1.19).
