Supabase eyes $10b valuation in new funding talks
Supabase, an open-source database startup, is in talks to raise new funding at a valuation of about US$10 billion, according to a report citing people familiar with the matter.
The company is seeking to raise around US$500 million, with Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC expected to lead the round.
The discussions would roughly double Supabase’s valuation from about US$5 billion in its previous funding round last year.
Founded in 2020 by Paul Copplestone and Ant Wilson, Supabase offers a developer backend platform built on the PostgreSQL database and counts Accel, Coatue, and Y Combinator among its investors.
