Stripe valuation jumps 74% to $159b

Stripe’s valuation increased to US$159 billion in a secondary share sale, involving investors such as Thrive Capital, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, and Stripe itself.

The company’s valuation rose about 74% from US$91.5 billion in February 2025.

The company reported that stablecoin payment volume doubled in 2025 to around US$400 billion, with an estimated 60% from business-to-business payments.

Stripe has recently invested in cryptocurrency-related ventures, including acquiring crypto wallet service Privy and launching its blockchain platform, Tempo.

Its stablecoin platform, Bridge, also saw volume increase more than fourfold.
