Strategy hits $128.4b market cap as bitcoin tops $122k

On July 16, 2025, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) hit a market capitalization of US$128.4 billion as bitcoin surpassed US$122,000 earlier in the week.

Its stock closed at US$455.90 per share on July 16, up 3% in the session and 174% over the past year.

In the last three months alone, shares climbed 36%, according to Nasdaq data.

Strategy is the largest corporate holder of bitcoin, owning 601,550 BTC, about 2.86% of the total supply.

As of July 14, the holdings were valued at over US$73 billion, with an average purchase price of US$71,270 per BTC.
