Bitcoin treasury company Strategy, previously known as MicroStrategy, acquired 22,048 bitcoins for US$1.92 billion from Mar. 24 to Mar. 30.

The purchase price averaged US$86,969 per bitcoin.

With this acquisition, Strategy’s total bitcoin holdings now exceed 528,000 BTC, valued at over US$43 billion.

The cost of these holdings is approximately US$35.63 billion, with an average purchase price of US$67,458 per bitcoin.

The purchases were funded through sales of Strategy’s class A common stock (MSTR) and perpetual preferred stock (STRK), raising about US$1.2 billion and US$18.52 million, respectively.
