Swedish AI startup Legora in talks to raise funds at $1.7b valuation

Legora, a Stockholm-based AI startup focused on legal services, is in talks to raise over US$100 million in a funding round that could value the company at about US$1.7 billion, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Bessemer Venture Partners is expected to lead the round, the sources said, asking not to be named as the information is not yet public.

Legora previously raised US$80 million in May at a US$675 million valuation.

The startup provides contract review, letter drafting, and case summarization tools to law firms, and lists Deloitte LLP, Harbottle & Lewis LLP, and Mishcon de Reya LLP as clients.

Legora was co-founded in 2023 by Max Junestrand and Sigge Labor.
