StarHub to buy MyRepublic Mobile in Singapore

Singapore telecom operator StarHub said on October 8 it will acquire the Singapore mobile business of MyRepublic, a Singapore-based telecom provider, subject to closing conditions.

StarHub said the deal will add MyRepublic Mobile to its multi-brand mobile business.

MyRepublic Mobile customers will keep their existing plans and services, and the MyRepublic Mobile brand will remain after the transaction closes.

The acquisition extends the companies’ existing ties, with MyRepublic Mobile users already being moved to StarHub’s network.

StarHub also said the transaction follows its 2021 investment in MyRepublic Broadband.
