Stanford, AI16z team to research AI in digital asset

Stanford University has partnered with Eliza Labs, the team behind the AI16z blockchain-powered AI agent, to research the role of autonomous AI agents in the digital asset economy.

This collaboration will begin in 2025 under Stanford’s Future of Digital Currency Initiative.

The research will examine trust mechanisms, economic systems with multiple agents, and decentralized governance models for AI.

Stanford professors Dan Boneh and David Mazières will oversee the project.

Eliza Labs plans to collaborate with industry players, although specific partners have yet to be announced.
