Stable, Aracore plan institutional stablecoin pilots in Asia
Aracore, a digital financial infrastructure company, said on September 30 that it entered a partnership with Stable, a USDT-native layer 1 blockchain network, to explore institutional stablecoin settlement and plan joint pilots in Asia and other markets.
The companies said they will explore how to connect Stable’s blockchain settlement infrastructure with Aracore’s Institutional Settlement Network.
Aracore said the network links banks, payment providers, and digital asset infrastructure.
The work will focus on cross-border settlement use cases for financial institutions and payment providers with existing transaction demand.
Stable is a Tether-focused blockchain project that raised US$28 million. Tether issues USDT, the US dollar-pegged stablecoin referenced in the partnership.
The move comes as regulators assess payment stablecoins’ implications for cross-border payments, while broader adoption depends on compliance with existing payment rules.
It also comes as networks such as Visa have launched stablecoin settlement initiatives.
