The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will not provide SpaceX’s Starlink with a US$886 million subsidy to expand broadband service in rural areas. Starlink had first applied for the funds last year, but the FCC found that it failed to “demonstrate that it could deliver the promised service.”
