Vietnam-based aerospace company VinSpace said on August 11, 2026, that it had signed a launch contract with US-based SpaceX.

Transporter rideshare mission to support VinSpace’s first planned satellite missions.

Under the agreement, VinSpace will handle the satellites’ research, development, manufacturing, and on-orbit operations.

VinSpace said the satellites would demonstrate its in-house technologies in orbit, build its satellite engineering capabilities, and support future commercial space applications.

The contract supports a timeline VinSpace outlined in April 2026, when the company said it planned to develop and launch its first satellites in 2027.
