South Korea plans to advance over 500 projects that integrate AI into various industries by 2030, according to the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The announcement came after a strategy meeting attended by Industry Minister Kim Jung-kwan and executives from major firms, including Samsung Electronics, LG Energy Solution, and Nongshim.

Currently, 102 projects are underway, with the government aiming to expand this number over the next five years.

The initiative seeks to boost manufacturing productivity while lowering costs and carbon emissions.
