The producion is taking place at Synopex Inc.’s factory in Dongtan, located 40 kilometers south of the capital Seoul.
The facility will meet the country’s annual demand of around 8,000 units, previously fulfilled through imports. This demand is valued at about 100 billion won (US$69.5 million).
The government has allocated 12.3 billion won to support this initiative, aimed at strengthening industries related to materials, parts, and equipment.
