South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups has chosen 51 “baby unicorn” firms with the potential to achieve a 1 trillon won (US$897m) valuation. They will receive development funding and support for international expansion. Bio and health firms accounted for 43% of the selected companies, followed by ICT platforms at 37%.
