A record US$18.8 billion in foreign investments was poured into South Korea last year, up 3.4% from 2022. Of that amount, US$3 billion went to the electronics industry, the largest among the sub-sectors, as it has gained significance globally due to pandemic-driven demand. This shows investor confidence in the country’s tech sector.
