Kevin Rose, founder of the social platform Digg, has announced the site’s relaunch after its decline over a decade ago.

He is working with a team that includes Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and other tech industry figures.

The new Digg is led by CEO Justin Mezzell, with Rose as chair and Ohanian as an adviser.

It was acquired from Money Group for an undisclosed amount.

The platform will initially offer a homepage and a limited number of sub-communities. The team envisions a platform centered on community interaction. Users can share and vote on links.
