Snowflake, an enterprise AI solutions firm, plans to add 100 employees in India. This expansion will increase its total headcount in the country to over 700 by the end of 2025, according to managing director of Snowflake India Vijayant Rai.

The company currently employs around 600 people in India. In addition to hiring, Snowflake intends to establish a research and development (R&D) center in India.

The firm recently opened a new office in Mumbai and plans to expand its Bengaluru office by the end of 2025. The expansion aims to support local customers with digital transformation efforts.

Snowflake noted that 50% of its Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) partner ecosystem is based in India, underscoring the region’s significance to its global operations.
