Snap’s chief business officer Ajit Mohan steps down
Snap, the owner of Snapchat, said its chief business officer, Ajit Mohan, will step down after four years for family reasons and return to Singapore.
Mohan said his family had remained in Singapore. He said that after joining Snap, he helped rebuild the company’s advertising business around performance advertising and direct response ads.
He also said Ronan Harris, whom he described as a friend and partner over the past four years, will take over as Snap’s chief commercial officer.
The leadership change comes as Snap’s ad business faces mixed conditions. In February, the company forecast revenue below estimates because of ad competition, despite stronger holiday-quarter revenue.
