Snap partners with Salesforce, Nvidia, AWS for Specs

Snap said it has partnered with Salesforce, a US enterprise software company, Nvidia, and Amazon Web Services to bring workplace AI tools to its Specs augmented-reality glasses as it targets business customers.

The company said Salesforce would add its Agentforce AI platform.

Nvidia would power AI features so Specs can interpret a worker’s visual environment and retrieve relevant company data.

Amazon Web Services would provide its AI assistant for voice commands in settings such as factories, retail stores, and field service operations.

Snap unveiled Specs in June, priced at US$2,195.

It did not disclose the partnership terms as it expands in a smart glasses market led by Meta, while Apple’s Vision Pro has seen mixed results.
