Snap appoints ex-Meta India head as CBO

Snap Inc, the parent company of Snapchat, has appointed Ajit Mohan as its chief business officer (CBO).

The announcement was made by cofounder and CEO Evan Spiegel during the company’s Q4 2024 post-earnings call.

Mohan previously served as Snap’s Asia Pacific (APAC) president since 2022.

He will now oversee the global advertising business, which includes leading Snap’s revenue product and business operations to improve coordination across teams managing advertising partnerships.

Before his role at Snap, Mohan was vice president and managing director of Meta India and CEO of Disney+ Hotstar.

He also held positions at Star India, McKinsey, and Arthur D Little, and is an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University and Wharton Business School.
