SK Telecom, SK hynix, and Penguin Solutions have signed a collaboration agreement to develop AI data center solutions.

The agreement was formalized at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, attended by the CEOs of the three companies.

This partnership follows SK Telecom’s US$200 million investment in Penguin Solutions in July 2024.

After the investment, the companies established a task force to explore how their technologies and expertise can enhance AI infrastructure offerings.

The firms plan to create and commercialize a software solution for building and managing AI data centers.

They also intend to seek business opportunities in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions, including Japan, while considering global expansion.
