SK Hynix reports surge in demand before tariffs
SK Hynix, the world’s second-largest memory chip maker, reported a rise in customer orders ahead of new US tariffs.
Lee Sang-rak, head of global sales and ,arketing, said this surge is driven by customers accelerating purchases before the tariffs.
He noted that lower customer inventory levels have also improved market conditions for the company.
Despite this positive trend, Lee Sang-rak cautioned that it is unclear whether demand will remain strong.
