Singtel unit Nxera opens Tuas data center
Singtel’s data center arm Nxera has opened DC Tuas, Singapore’s highest power-density and most energy-efficient multi-tenanted data center with 58MW of AI-ready capacity.
The facility increases Nxera’s total capacity in Singapore to 120MW and supports higher-density AI workloads with the largest direct-to-chip liquid-cooling deployment.
Over 90% of the space was pre-committed before launch.
DC Tuas is integrated with a cable landing station, offering low latency and high reliability for mission-critical applications.
The data center meets the highest Green Mark Platinum standards awarded by Singapore’s authorities and incorporates solar power, rainwater harvesting, and other sustainability features, achieving a PUE of 1.25.
The facility is part of Nxera’s broader expansion plans in Asia, with additional capacity in Batam and Johor expected later this year.
The expansion aims to support Singapore’s position as a regional AI hub and enhance digital infrastructure resilience.
