Singtel has reached an agreement to sell its mobile wallet service, Dash, to Western Union, as announced on Thursday.

The deal is conditional on regulatory clearances, with current Dash services remaining available to users until completion.

Launched in 2014, Dash serves over 1.4 million users in Singapore. It offers services such as payments, remittances, savings, investments, and insurance.

Singtel aims to streamline operations and concentrate on core business areas through this transaction.
