Singapore-based ST Telemedia Global Data Centres said STT Jakarta 2 started operations,

STT Jakarta 3 topped out, and STT Jakarta 5 and 6 broke ground.

The projects expands its cloud and AI infrastructure in Greater Jakarta.

STT Jakarta 2 has 24MW of IT load capacity, while STT Jakarta 5 and 6 are each planned for 40MW.

The company said the milestones brought its Indonesia development pipeline to more than 360MW of AI-ready, sustainable IT capacity.

That would make STT GDC one of the larger developers in Jakarta’s data center market, projected at 658.78MW in 2025.

STT GDC also said it was deepening a partnership with vocational institution ATMI Cikarang.

The collaboration covers a data center lab, certification training, and internships, as training pathways for the sector remained limited.
