Singapore’s PRECISE, Temus launch precision medicine center

Precision Health Research, Singapore (PRECISE), which leads Singapore’s National Precision Medicine programme, and Temus, a Singapore-based AI and digital transformation company, signed a memorandum of understanding on October 2 to set up a joint innovation center for Phase III of the national program.

The five-year collaboration, announced at the Precision Health Partnerships in Singapore event, aims to build the technology, data, and delivery capabilities needed to turn genomic research into healthcare applications.

Phase III, launched in November 2025, aims to sequence the genomes of about 10% of Singapore’s local resident population, or 450,000 people.

PRECISE and Temus said the center will focus on secure genomics data infrastructure, as well as processes and safeguards for assessing and integrating emerging methods and technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
