Singapore’s PDG secures $1.3b for Johor data hub
Singapore-based Princeton Digital Group (PDG), a data center developer and operator, said on November 4 that it had secured about US$1.3 billion in green financing for continued development of its JH1 campus in Sedenak Tech Park, Johor.
The campus is planned for 200 megawatts.
Affin Bank, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered, and UOB underwrote the financing.
PDG said the campus had earlier secured financing from three banks in April 2024, before the package was increased with four banks in October 2025.
The company added that JH1 holds Green Building Index Gold for Design and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold for Operations certifications.
The Johor project had previously tapped green debt, including a US$280 million loan, though available material did not disclose detailed phase-by-phase capacity or construction status.
PDG said the transaction contributes to its plan, announced in March 2026, to raise up to US$5 billion in debt financing to deliver contracted data center capacity across Asia Pacific.
