Singapore women platform Podium raises six-figure funding
Podium, a Singapore-based platform for peer discovery and connection among women, has raised its first investment round, securing a six-figure sum led by Accelerating Asia.
More than half of the funding came from Podium’s own members, including professionals from Google, Amazon, banking, and entrepreneurial backgrounds.
Podium was founded by Mai Vo, formerly of Google, and Alka Gupta, previously with Grab and BukuWarung.
The company has over 300 paying members and relies on referrals and word of mouth for growth.
Podium’s platform uses AI-driven matching and hosts in-person gatherings for its users.
International expansion is also being considered, the company said.
