Singapore-based Panthera Growth Partners said on June 5 it invested US$30 million in the series B round of India-based Innefu Labs, an AI software company that serves defense, intelligence, law enforcement, and enterprise security users.

The deal includes primary and secondary capital from Panthera’s second fund.

The companies said the investment will support Innefu’s expansion in sovereign AI national security products and overseas markets as it works toward an initial public offering and develops agentic AI and physical AI capabilities.

Innefu said it sells AI tools for intelligence fusion, predictive policing, digital forensics, fraud detection, surveillance analytics, and authentication.

Its customers include defense and intelligence organizations, law enforcement agencies, financial intelligence units, banking, financial services, and insurance firms, and Fortune 500 companies.

The company said it has more than 100 deployments across the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

The company previously described itself as series A-funded on its website, but public materials reviewed did not disclose the size, investors, or valuation of its earlier round.

The investment comes as policy support for local procurement in India’s defense-tech market has helped create more than 1,000 startups and drawn more private investor interest.
