Singapore startup fileAI nets $14m series A

Singapore-based AI company fileAI has secured US$14 million in its series A funding round.

The round was led by returning investors Illuminate Financial, Antler Elevate, Insignia, and Heinemann Group, bringing the company’s total funding to over US$20 million.

The firm provides solutions for managing unstructured data, such as PDFs, spreadsheets, and emails.

It operates in multiple regions including Singapore, Japan, the United States, and Australia, serving industries such as financial services, insurance, and manufacturing.

The new funding will support fileAI’s research and development efforts as well as enhance its proprietary AI capabilities.

A new platform aimed at finance, operations, and legal teams is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2025.
