Singapore payments firm Dtcpay taps TP for APAC support
TP, a digital business services company, and Singapore-based regulated digital payments provider Dtcpay announced a partnership to expand customer support for dtcpay’s payment services across the Asia-Pacific region.
The collaboration will support Dtcpay’s expansion of its stablecoin payment offerings across the region.
Under the deal, TP will provide 24/7 support for Dtcpay’s customers and merchants in English and Mandarin across voice and digital channels, using its AI-powered customer support tools.
Dtcpay offers in-store and online acceptance for fiat and stablecoin payments, as well as multicurrency pay-in and payout services.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore directory lists Digital Treasures Center Pte. Ltd., Dtcpay’s legal entity, as a Major Payment Institution that can provide merchant acquisition, account issuance, e-money issuance, domestic and cross-border money transfers, and digital payment token services.
Dtcpay also said it held an electronic money institution license in Luxembourg and licenses or registrations in Hong Kong, Australia, the US, and Canada.
The announcement came after the Monetary Authority of Singapore finalized its stablecoin framework in August 2023 for single-currency stablecoins issued in Singapore and pegged to the Singapore dollar or a Group of 10 currency.
The framework sets reserve, redemption, capital, and disclosure requirements for tokens labeled as MAS-regulated stablecoins.
