Singapore-based internet of things (IoT) provider iSense Global has secured a strategic investment from DNAKE (Xiamen) Intelligent Technology, a publicly listed Chinese firm specializing in smart intercom and building automation.

The investment will see iSense shift its manufacturing to DNAKE’s facilities and collaborate on new IoT solutions in healthcare, access control, security, and urban monitoring.

iSense Global provides smart city technology for projects in Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and Malaysia, with expansion efforts underway in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, Europe, and the US.

The companies said the partnership aims to combine iSense’s IoT analytics with DNAKE’s hardware expertise to support larger and more complex projects.

Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
