Sunrate, a Singapore-based payments and treasury management platform, said it would unveil Sunrate.AI at SuperAI in Singapore on June 10.

The company described it as a system of AI agents for cross-border business-to-business (B2B) payment workflows, including onboarding, compliance, payment execution, and foreign exchange.

The product is designed to work across Sunrate’s portal, application programming interfaces, and command-line interface, with audit trails, compliance controls, and human review built into workflows.

The launch comes as Monetary Authority of Singapore guidelines proposed in 2025 set expectations for financial institutions using AI, including oversight, lifecycle controls, and governance for technologies such as AI agents.

Sunrate, founded in 2016, said it supports businesses in 190+ countries and holds a Singapore Major Payment Institution license. Its treasury trading and hedging products are provided through Sunrate Markets Pte. Ltd., which holds a Capital Markets Services license.

SuperAI, held at Marina Bay Sands on June 10-11, described itself as Asia’s largest AI event and said it expected more than 10,000 attendees from over 100 countries.
