Singapore Exchange to launch bitcoin futures for institutions
Singapore Exchange Ltd. (SGX) plans to introduce bitcoin perpetual futures in the latter half of 2025, targeting institutional clients and professional investors.
Retail customers will not be eligible to trade these instruments, which come with strict eligibility criteria.
The contracts await regulatory approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
They aim to provide institutional investors with enhanced access to cryptocurrency derivatives through a regulated platform.
