The Monetary Authority of Singapore has unveiled new initiatives to enhance its collaboration with China. These include a cross-border e-CNY pilot that will allow travelers from both Singapore and China to use the digital currency for tourism spending.

The two countries are also exploring a remittance linkage between Singapore’s PayNow and China’s UnionPay.
