Topview AI, a Singapore-based AI video creation platform, said it is expanding its filmmaking tools after it launched Film Studio in July 2026.

The product helps creators plan, generate, and refine AI short films. Its Drama Studio supports episodic storytelling.

The company said it has 5 million registered users across its platform. It added that 40% of users create AI films and dramas.

Topview AI said Hieu AI Media used Drama Studio for two episodes of Green Lightning.

It also said DRagon Studios used Topview AI in making a completed feature film and plans a December 2026 premiere in London’s West End, followed by a limited theatrical release in the UK.

AI filmmaking still faces questions about character and performance consistency, as well as the rights of creative contributors.

In the UK, copyright treatment for AI-generated works remains under scrutiny.

The government launched a consultation on copyright and AI in December 2024.
