Singapore-based Sparkonomy, an AI infrastructure startup focused on creator tools, launched the Open Creator Graph on September 29.

The free platform lets creators verify their identities and set terms for how AI systems can use their names, images, voices, likenesses, and work.

Creators can claim a record by signing in with accounts from Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or X. They can then choose whether AI use is allowed, conditional, or prohibited.

Sparkonomy cited its AI Misrepresentation Study (AMISS) of 10,000 creators. It said only one creator was accurately described by all five AI engines it tested, while 67% were not accurately described by any of them.

The launch comes as rules on AI use of a person’s voice and likeness draw more attention.

In the US, legislation that moves forward could reshape those rights, while legal guidance says existing publicity, copyright, and contract law may be leveraged against unauthorized uses.

Separately, Adobe has backed the CREATOR Act, which seeks to give creators more control over how AI uses their work.
