Singapore AI security robotics firm Kabam to shut down
Singapore-based Kabam Robotics, which makes AI-powered security robots and management software, told customers in an email that it will cease operations on November 20.
The company did not disclose a reason for the closure.
The email apologized for any inconvenience and asked customers who need help with existing matters to contact Kabam before the shutdown date.
It is unclear how many employees will be affected or what will happen to Kabam’s existing customers and robot deployments.
Kabam’s LinkedIn page lists 54 people associated with the company, but that is not a confirmed employee count.
A published case study describes Kabam’s security robots being deployed at SingHealth hospital facilities in Singapore.
