N&E Innovations, a Singapore-based deeptech company that turns agricultural waste into antimicrobial ingredients, said it raised A$2.4 million (around US$1.73 million) in series A funding led by Tundra Capital, an Australian agrifood investment firm.

SGInnovate – Singapore’s state-backed deep-tech investor – The Radical Fund, Archipelago VC, and SG7 Group backed the round.

Existing investors Cercano, SEEDS Capital, Elev8 Capital, and Qian Hu Corporation also joined the round.

Founded in 2020, N&E uses by-products such as cashew nut husks to make antimicrobial compounds for fresh produce, food packaging, and cleaning products.

The company said the funds would support international expansion, regulatory programs, and team growth.

N&E said its customers include Singapore Airlines, while it is also expanding in the United Kingdom, Germany, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Australia.
