Plug and Play, a Silicon Valley-based open innovation platform, has launched operations in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The initiative is supported by the Cambodian Ministry of Post and Telecommunications and advised by the American University of Phnom Penh Technology Center.

The Plug and Play Cambodia Program aims to enhance the country’s startup ecosystem. It focuses on accelerating the growth of early-stage businesses in sectors such as financial services, education, travel and hospitality, food and agriculture, and logistics.

The program will provide startups with resources for commercialization, international expansion, and access to investment opportunities.

The program will utilize Plug and Play’s international network of corporations, investors, and mentors. Plug and Play has a presence in Asia Pacific, with its Asian headquarters in Singapore.
