Siemens said on June 2 that it launched Intelligence Center X, a platform designed to help companies build and manage industrial AI applications as manufacturers increasingly adopt digital twins and AI tools.

The software is part of Siemens Xcelerator and combines technologies from the Mendix and RapidMiner portfolio. Siemens said it is designed to work alongside existing enterprise and operational technology systems rather than replace them.

Siemens cited Brazil-based flat glass manufacturer Vivix Vidros Planos, which had deployed nearly 30 Mendix applications connecting operational technology and information technology data across SAP S/4HANA, Siemens Industrial Edge, and Snowflake.

According to Siemens, the deployment recover 6,000 hours of manual work in one year, cut production issue resolution time by 85%, and reduced customer complaint resolution time from five days to under one day.

Siemens said Intelligence Center X can be deployed as a standalone platform and can support sectors including manufacturing, financial services and healthcare.
