Shopee has announced a collaboration with OpenAI to explore the use of AI agents in Southeast Asia and Brazil.

Shopee will serve as a launch partner for OpenAI’s Operator, an AI agent designed to autonomously interact with the internet for tasks like online shopping.

Since the AI tool is currently in its research preview phase, both companies will gather user feedback to refine its capabilities.
