Shopee has launched the Shopee International Platform (SIP) in Singapore, supported by EnterpriseSG, to help local sellers access new markets.

This initiative currently focuses on expansion into Malaysia and Thailand, with plans to include the Philippines.

During the pilot phase, over 8,000 sellers from Shopee Singapore participated. They achieved an eightfold increase in both orders and gross merchandise value within three months.

The program provides free cross-border logistics, customer service, and secure payment tools to facilitate regional expansion.

Shopee is also introducing a new feature for high-performing sellers in Malaysia, giving them more control over product selection, pricing, and promotions.

Following the pilot’s success, Shopee plans to onboard more sellers monthly through an automated invitation process.
