Singapore-based ShopBack, a shopping, rewards, and payments platform, said on August 11 that it had expanded its partnership with Visa in Singapore to include in-store payments.

The move lets users earn rewards when they pay with Visa cards at physical checkouts through ShopBack Pay, alongside existing online card-linked offers through the Visa Offers Platform.

ShopBack said ShopBack Pay is available at more than 20,000 physical outlets in Singapore and recorded more than 16 million in-store transactions in 2025.

The Visa partnership covers categories including food and beverage, travel, and marketplaces.

For in-store purchases, ShopBack Pay works through the app by scanning QR codes at participating merchants.

Payments are routed through a linked card, allowing users to earn ShopBack cashback alongside card rewards.

ShopBack said it has rewarded shoppers with over S$1 billion (US$781 million) in cashback globally and generated S$7 billion (US$5.47 billion) in gross merchandise value for merchants and brand partners in 2025.

Its Singapore payments unit also holds a major payment institution license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, covering account issuance, domestic money transfer, and merchant acquisition.
