ShopBack has launched ShopBack Pay in Hong Kong, allowing users to earn and redeem cashback in-store at over 500 outlets, including Ten Ren Tea.

ShopBack, a Singapore-based shopping and rewards platform, now lets Hong Kong users use cashback at physical stores after previously offering online cashback since 2022.

ShopBack Pay integrates payment options such as Octopus, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

The company said a million users in Hong Kong have earned HK$300 million in cashback from online purchases so far.

Participating merchants include Ten Ren Tea, Gyu-Kaku, Kabo Burger, Aboutea, and Sushi Express.

ShopBack Pay aims to boost foot traffic for local retailers and gives merchants access to digital customer engagement tools.

The launch in Hong Kong adds to ShopBack’s payment rewards network in Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia.
