Shein, Temu to address UK lawmakers on labor practices
Online fashion retailer Shein and ecommerce platform Temu are scheduled to appear before a UK parliamentary committee on next Tuesday to discuss labor practices in their supply chains.
The hearing is part of an investigation by the Business and Trade Committee into employment rights, focusing on allegations of poor working conditions and forced labor.
Shein and Temu have denied the allegations, highlighting their policies against such practices.
The committee, chaired by former minister Liam Byrne, is also examining a broader employment rights bill aimed at strengthening worker protections in the UK.
