SG’s Horizon Quantum debuts operational in-house computing system
Horizon Quantum Computing has completed the assembly and integration of its first quantum computer at its Singapore headquarters.
The system is fully operational and was assembled from components supplied by Maybell, Quantum Machines, and Rigetti.
The company claims it is the first quantum software firm to own and operate a quantum computer, giving it full control over both hardware and software.
The new testbed lets Horizon Quantum develop and test its software infrastructure directly on its own hardware.
The modular system can accommodate different control electronics and quantum processors.
The company plans to make the system available through its Triple Alpha development environment and is working to integrate its software with other quantum computing platforms.
