SG VC firm GFTN, Japan’s SBI launch $200m fintech fund
GFTN Capital, a Singapore-based venture firm under the Global Finance & Technology Network, has partnered with Japan’s SBI Holdings and its subsidiary SBI Ven Capital to launch a US$200 million fund.
The fund will invest in growth-stage fintech companies globally, focusing on AI, digital assets, cybersecurity, and tokenisation.
GFTN connects innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers across more than 130 countries.
SBI Holdings operates a wide range of financial services, including securities, banking, and insurance. Its subsidiary, SBI Ven Capital, manages assets primarily in Southeast and South Asia.
GFTN Capital also announced a strategic alliance with Accion, a US–based global nonprofit that supports innovative financial service providers to build a more inclusive world.
Together, they aim to mobilize capital for digital finance and inclusive fintech companies serving underserved communities.
The partnership will bring together industry stakeholders to advance responsible innovation and support companies delivering high-quality financial products at scale.
