SG VC firm Antares Ventures backs $7.55m round in German startup

Antares Ventures has invested in a €7 million (US$7.55 million) seed round for enaDyne, a Germany-based startup developing non-thermal plasma catalysis reactors that convert greenhouse gases into chemicals.

The funding round was co-led by APEX Ventures and Energy Capital Ventures, with participation from Possible Ventures and several business angels.

enaDyne plans to use the funds to build and deploy a modular pilot plant at an industrial site by mid-2026, develop products for abating CF4 and PFAS, and set up a scalable production chain.

Antares Ventures is a deep-tech VC focused on Asia growth markets, headquartered in Singapore.

enaDyne, founded in 2021, has a team of 30 and has raised about €15 million to date, including grants.

The company aims to offer its technology to industries such as semiconductors, petrochemicals, and biogas, which face pressure to decarbonize.
