SG startup Wiz.ai raises tens of millions of dollars in series B
Wiz.ai, a Singapore-based AI company focused on enterprise applications of large language models, has raised tens of millions of US dollars in a series B funding round.
The round was led by SMBC Asia Rising Fund, the venture capital arm of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, with participation from Beacon Venture Capital, SMIC SG Holdings, and existing investors Singtel Innov8 and Granite Asia.
Wiz.ai plans to use the funding to enhance its AI platform and expand into new markets, including Latin America.
The company reported over 100% revenue growth in the 2024-2025 period.
Wiz.ai provides AI-powered customer engagement solutions for enterprises, with a focus on local language and dialect support in Southeast Asia.

🧠 Food for thought
Implications, context, and why it matters.
Exact funding amount and valuation remain undisclosed, limiting assessment of capital efficiency
- The article leaves out the Series B amount, the pre or post-money valuation, and current revenue or Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). Without those, “100% growth” could come from a small base, which blurs whether Wiz.ai grows efficiently or burns cash.
- For context, the unrelated cloud security company Wiz raised $1 billion at a $12 billion valuation and disclosed $350 million ARR 1.
- The lack of financial detail makes it hard to see if enterprise wins convert into steady recurring revenue or if growth comes from pilots and proof-of-concepts.
System integrators and telcos can capture margin by partnering on Wiz.ai’s Latin America expansion
- A Latin America push creates work for system integrators (IT services firms that deploy plus connect software), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms, plus Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) or telcos. Partners can handle localization, telephony integration, and sales. Wiz.ai already teamed with Smartfren, a mobile network operator in Indonesia, to deliver conversational AI over telecom networks 2.
- Voice agents in emerging markets need edge infrastructure (computing resources placed close to users to cut latency) and mixed-language support. Carriers and cloud firms can bundle connectivity, compliance, and regional language models to make money 3.
- Vendors that offer speech-to-text, text-to-speech, or LLM infrastructure should confirm whether Wiz.ai runs a public partner program, since the cloud security company Wiz offers a formal program that speeds third-party integrations 4.
